2015 marks the 8th Anniversary for the Afrikan American Festival. Even though the festival is still in its young stage, it has drawn over five thousand attendees each year it has been held and we believe the attendance will continue to grow. The Rochester A.B.O.V.E. Board is happy and proud to announce the following entertainment roster: Brownskin, Tamra Cherubin, Judah Sealy, Paradigm Shift, Ignite; Gospel – featuring Serena Young, Church of Love Faith Center Choir, Poetry, Dance, and many more local performers, Community Awards and more.

Our Festival Hosts are: Tokeya C. Graham and G’Funk with our “DJ True Soul” Music Selector, Avery T. Blackman, who will be playing the best Afrocentric Soul Music in between performances. In addition, there will be a Health Tent with screenings, and information that will focus on the health of Afrikan Americans. Come enjoy children activities, food vendors, product vendors, and service vendors. Admission is free.
