A Conversation with The Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School President

The Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School has been an important part of the Rochester community for more than 150 years. However, the school’s roots go back to 1817 when the Hamilton Literary Institute was founded by a group of Baptist laymen in Hamilton, New York. The purpose of the institution was to train clergy for the churches of the region and to ensure the growth and vitality of these congregations.
