CEO/Owner Mike Benner, a native Rochesterian, has returned to his hometown bringing with him the Rochester Raiders Indoor Professional Football Team.

Benner began his career playing football for East Ridge High School from 1973-77.  After winning 288 games as a head Coach and Owner, he brings that expertise, experience and winning spirit back home.

At the Raiders press conference supporter Mayor Lovely Warren said, “It is my pleasure to welcome the Raiders back to the city,  I believe this move will be beneficial to the team and to the Main Street Armory. I’d like to wish team owner Mike Benner and the players and coaches a very successful inaugural season.” The season begins on April 4 at the newly named “Marina Jeep Arena”, formerly “Main Street Armory.”  Benner has put together a talented team who share his vision of winning the  American Indoor League Championship for Rochester.    Some of his Raider players will be working at Hillside Children’s Center where they strive to provide hope and encouragement to  the children there.  In addition, the players will be working with various youth groups in the area.
